Asher Hotchkin

BASKETBALL

Asher Hotchkin is a talented and versatile basketball guard from Albany known for his strong shooting ability, high basketball IQ, and leadership qualities. He has represented the Great Southern, captained his Albany team, and competes in Men’s A-Grade basketball.

In 2026, Asher was selected into the Basketball WA Regional Performance Program (RPP), recognising him as one of the top emerging regional players in the state. He has also received multiple MVP awards, along with the All-Star Award and Raiders Values Award.

Away from playing, Asher has four years of coaching experience and is also a qualified Level 1 referee, showing his strong understanding of and commitment to the game.

Asher’s current goal is selection into the WA Country U18 Boys team for the Australian Junior Championships, with a focus on continuing to develop his role-specific skills through high-performance training and the RPP pathway.
