Joel is a freestyle BMX rider based in Albany. This year he has pushed his riding to be able to compete in the Open Men’s category across the state.

In the 2026 state season to date, Joel has delivered strong results securing two 1st place finishes, four 2nd place finishes, as well as a 3rd and 4th place. These performances have been recognised by Freestyle Now who invited him to be a part of a group that will go to the Gold Coast ahead of nationals, to get some training in.

Joel’s current goal is to qualify for finals at the Australian BMX Freestyle National Championships, as he continues to build toward national-level success and establish himself among riders.
