Kate Levett
SURF LIFE SAVING
Kate is a dedicated surf life saving athlete and a member of Albany Surf Life Saving Club (ASLSC), competing in surf sports with a focus on the board race and Ironwoman events. She also trains with the Albany Swimming Club and is developing a strong interest in open water swimming, successfully completing 1.5km and 2km swims in 2026.
Since the age of 10, Kate has consistently qualified for the SLSWA Nipper State Championships, demonstrating steady improvement each year. In 2026, she achieved a silver medal in the board race final.
In her first year of eligibility, Kate competed at the Surf Life Saving Australia National Championships (“the Aussies”), held on the Gold Coast, where she reached the quarter-final in the board race and the semi-final in the mixed beach relay.
As a Tier 2 scholarship holder with the Great Southern Academy of Sport, Kate is currently working towards selection in the Western Suns U14 Pathways Team for the 2026/27 season.
