Mia Schwarzbach

BASKETBALL

Mia Schwarzbach is a basketball athlete from Denmark, WA, who plays as a point guard and wing. Known for her speed, creativity and ability to finish around the basket, Mia has developed into one of the leading junior basketballers in the Great Southern region.

Mia's standout achievement to date is her selection in the 2026 WA Country Under 16 Basketball Team, where she was the only athlete from the Great Southern selected across the boys' and girls' U16 squads. She will travel to play at the U16s Nationals in July.

She has also been selected in Basketball WA's Future Development Program and has been awarded MVP of the Denmark Senior High School Specialist Basketball Program for three consecutive years. Mia continues to balance representative basketball commitments alongside football and netball while pursuing further opportunities within the basketball pathway.
