  • Mel Eastough

  • Jarrad Gardner

The Great Southern Academy of Sport is being designed and built from the ground up to deliver an exceptional sports support and training environment for our region’s most elite young athletes.

The academy will foster the development of these young athletes through elite pathways as they represent our state, country and eventually shine on the world stage.

It takes a village to raise a child and likewise it takes an academy to raise an athlete. As they strive to reach the pinnacle of their sports, our talented young men and women learn the value of effort, discipline and teamwork. They mature through defeat and grow humble in victory. They become role models and our future community leaders.

Our academy will have a profound impact on the sporting landscape in the Great Southern and we invite you to become a founding partner, contribute to and share in the success of our region, our sports and our stars.

GSAS Executive Officer Rob Perisic with board members Kathryn Slattery, Peter Watson and Mel Eastough.
